Integrative psychiatry looks at the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Instead of just focusing on symptoms, we explore root causes like genetics, nutrition, sleep, and stress. Your treatment plan may include medication if needed, but also nutrition, supplements, therapy, and lifestyle support. It’s a more personalized and collaborative approach than the traditional “one-size-fits-all” model.
-
Precision Psychiatry uses genomic testing (IntellxxDNA) to understand how your unique DNA may be affecting your mood, focus, energy, and medication response. Instead of guessing what might work, we use science to guide treatment, so you get safer, faster, and more effective results.
-
Most genetic tests on the market focus on medication matching or a limited set of markers. IntellxxDNA goes far beyond that—it looks at a wide range of genetic pathways that can impact mood, focus, energy, inflammation, nutrient absorption, and even how you handle stress. Instead of just telling us what medications might work, it helps us uncover the root biological factors behind your symptoms. This allows us to create a more personalized, holistic plan that can include nutrition, supplements, lifestyle changes, and medications if needed.
-
Every person is unique, but many patients notice improvements within 2–6 weeks of starting their personalized plan. Because we target the root causes of symptoms, you may begin to feel more balanced and confident sooner than with the traditional trial-and-error approach.
-
Your first appointment is a 90-minute comprehensive evaluation. We’ll discuss your history, current challenges, and goals. If genomic testing is part of your plan, we’ll go over which panel is right for you. By the end, you’ll have a clear roadmap for your treatment—including next steps, realistic goals, and support options tailored to you.
-
After your initial appointment, we’ll work together to create a personalized plan tailored to your needs. Follow-up visits are usually scheduled more frequently at the beginning to help us monitor progress, adjust medications or recommendations as needed, and provide ongoing support. Over time, these visits often become less frequent as stability improves, though each person’s schedule is unique.
In addition, I offer quarterly check-ins to review your progress in a structured way. These sessions give us the opportunity to reflect on what’s working, make adjustments if needed, and ensure that your care continues to align with your long-term goals.
-
Yes. I work with children, adolescents, and adults. For minors, parental or guardian consent is required, and we partner with families to ensure care is supported both at home and in school settings. Sessions with minors are typically longer, where I speak to both the minor and parent(s) separately.
-
Yes, I do prescribe psychiatric medications when they are helpful—but I don’t believe medication should be the only solution. My goal is to simplify your treatment plan, reduce side effects, and integrate other supportive approaches (nutrition, supplements, therapy, lifestyle) so medication is used thoughtfully and effectively.
-
If you’ve tried traditional psychiatry and still don’t feel like yourself—or if your child is struggling with focus, emotions, or school despite your best efforts—this approach may be right for you. I work especially well with families seeking answers beyond trial-and-error medications, high-achieving adults facing burnout or anxiety, and individuals navigating big life transitions or cultural identity challenges.
-
That’s completely fine. Many of my patients are already working with therapist, physicians, coaches or other practitioners. My approach is to work with other practitioners to provide collaborative and coordinated care that is complementary and not duplicated so your treatment plan feels integrated and supportive of your overall well-being. You do not need to stop your current treatments before beginning care with us.

At this time, I offer telehealth appointments for patients and families in Massachusetts and Tennessee. Virtual care allows us to meet conveniently and comfortably, while still offering a comprehensive and personal experience.
